Intellegis Consulting was founded by Bart Vanheste — a senior consultant with over a decade of experience in business process analysis, project management, product ownership, and financial advisory. Bart created Intellegis Consulting with a clear purpose: to offer senior consulting expertise directly to organisations that need it — without the overhead, without the layers, and without compromising on quality.
Intellegis Consulting was not built overnight. It is the result of over a decade of showing up, delivering, and learning what good consulting really looks like.
Bart started his consulting career at Deloitte, before moving into the world of freelance consulting and quickly building a track record in some of Belgium’s most demanding environments — highly regulated sectors where the stakeholder landscape is complex, and the work has to be done right.
Over the past decade, he has worked on some of the most significant transformation programmes — from large-scale SAP migrations and smart meter rollouts to procure-to-pay implementations and market communication platforms in the energy and utility sector. Along the way, he has taken on roles as process analyst, project manager, product owner, test coordinator, business controller, and finance manager — often combining several in a single engagement.
Intellegis Consulting is the natural next step: a consulting practice built around his experience, his values, and his commitment to doing the work properly.

Bart Vanheste of Intellegis Consulting has been cycling with Kom op tegen Kanker for a number of years. This is a fantastic organisation and event — all proceeds go entirely to cancer research. Fantastic, right? And it also raises visibility for research and the support of the whole community. Intellegis Consulting is happy to contribute — both as a sponsor of activities and as a volunteer at events such as the chocolate sale, the spaghetti weekend, the after-work party, and more.
It goes without saying. Our youth. Learning social skills, how to organise, how to be creative, spending time in nature, setting up and enjoying a large camp. Bart Vanheste of Intellegis Consulting has made this his active hobby for the past 15 years — contributing on construction (new building completed in 2018), legal (founding the non-profit in 2015), financial, and leadership support levels. He passed on the baton as board member in January 2026.
Tonuso is a non-profit in youth care with a very meaningful purpose. Youth care speaks for itself — but it is not an easy job. Ons Tehuis Brabant is a non-profit active in the disability sector, based in Kampenhout. It is a fairly large organisation with active building plans for the coming years. The staff of this non-profit care for their clients with heart and soul. Bart Vanheste of Intellegis Consulting was himself an active employee from 2013 to 2018 as administrative and financial director. Intellegis Consulting tries to contribute as a volunteer at the October food days and as a marshal at the jogging event.
